Mission: BellXcel (formerly BELL - Building Educated Leaders for Life) builds the capacity of local school districts and youth development organizations to provide high-quality learning programs for children in grades PK-8. BellXcel's innovative solutions equip partners with evidence-based tools and resources to impact scholars, educators, and families. Our solutions combine academics, enrichment, social-emotional learning, and wellness activities for scholars; professional development for educators; and robust organizational tools and family engagement resources.

Founded in 1992 to transform the academic achievements, self-confidence, and life trajectories of children of color, BellXcel's evolution is driven by the experiences of students from underserved communities. We remain grounded in equity and the belief that all children can excel.

In 2021, in afterschool and summer programs, BellXcel and our 150 partners reached over 70,000 students in 35 states.

BellXcel (aka The B.E.L.L. Foundation) is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1994, and donations are tax-deductible.
