Work has me replace them after they look beat up but they're still waterproof and comfortable after 2 years of daily wear. The sole stays attached which is better than most! I also take the factory insoles out and wear them as zero drop boots.

Been wearing these pretty frequently. Extremely comfortable and hold up well. Can easily go 12 hours without any issues. Extremely happy with this purchase. Time will tell as far as longevity but seem to be holding up well. as far as use, I have been using in mixed environments of asphalt and woods without issue. They fit true to size. plenty of room for my hobbit feet. Solid construction. Would buy again without hesitation.

First, this boot feels UH-MAZING! After 27 years in the military, this is, without a doubt, the most comfortable boot I've ever worn (as a drill sergeant, we had wide latitude on boot choiceI've worn many). I also have Thoroughgood boots, which stand tall (as in elevates you), but they are not nearly as comfortable. This boot, however, did I mention it's like wearing slippers? But... the back of the heel is... not as prominent? It feels like the front of the boot is taller. Not a big deal when you consider how freakin comfortable these boots are. This will most likely be my go-to boot from now on.

If you are lucky enough to receive a pair that doesn't have one boot wider than the other or excess glue all around both boots then you are good to go. Seriously, do yourself a favor. Order them from Belleville itself. As for me? I've had it. 2x already and all I'm getting is blems. The seller is good. Im going with Reebok in spite of the Prop 65 cancer warning. If it's my time then it's my time. At least my feet will be comfortable. Btw? These boots ARE NARROW and have a very small toe box. I ordered a 12W and being that the left boot was more narrow than the right I felt it pressing hard against the bone in the middle of the outside of the foot. One more thing. Be cautious if you order Reebok's Rapid Response boots. One is side zip and waterproof and the other is just side zip. They look exactly the same.

I read a review that says to size down a half size. I did that and they were a half size too small. Great boots - just order your size.

When I wore my shoe inserts the boots dug into my feet near my little toes. I loosened the laces it didn't help. I don't feel pain without the inserts. The soles could use more cushioning.

I work as a correctional officer I am on my feet all-day. This things are as comfortable as they come. I Haven't put too many miles on it yet because I just got them, but I am very impress with them so far. I hope they hold up because I really like this boots.

Its what I wanted in a boot: black, zip up, composite toe, 8" tall. But after 2 weeks of breaking them in. It has rubbed my heel and Achilles tendon almost raw. I wear wolverine 2x cushion, its not because of my socks. The boot feels great putting them on. Its like putting your foot into a cloud. But i am on my feet 15 hours a day. Minimum of 14,000 steps a day. My only complaint is; while walking, the inside back of boot is like sandpaper on my Achilles tendon and heel.

I'm on my feet all day. I get a new pair usually every year because my company goes half on safety shoes. For the last 4 years I bought Reebok stealth boots which were as comfortable a composite toe boot that I have ever worn. This year I thought I would change it up by buying Bates tactical. My toes were killing me in the Bates so I decided to either buy Reebok again or look for something else. Although I loved the Reebok I just wanted a change. My son is a c.o. at a prison and recommended Belleville boots. I have had these on my feet for about 3 hrs and can tell you these are out of the box comfortable. My feet are coming up on age 60 so I'm very picky on comfort.. They also state they are waterproof which is a plus over the Reebok and Bates. I will update this review over time but I am impressed so far.

I like how when you first try the boots on your foot is incased in the boot. They're snug without being tight. There's room for your feet to breathe. They come prelaced so you can adjust as needed and the Velcro is on both sides of the zipper! I am extremely satisfied and when I have to get new boots I'll definitely be reordering these! These are perfect for anyone in EMS!!

I chose these boots because I work in resale retail and I am on my feet all day and sometimes get dirty. I have a hard time finding something with enough support for my ankles and I have lower back issues. I finally decided to get the sturdiest boots I could find, I usually wear doc martens with a custom insole. These boots fit spot on! I wear a womens size 9 and i ordered these in mens 7. They fit snug but I can still wiggle my toes, the heal stays in place.There is a little bunching of the lining fabric on the top of the foot almost to the toe that is noticeable but I am hoping flattens out after wearing them from body heat. They really are not that heavy. I don't think they even weigh as much as my doc martens and I am a smaller woman who is not very strong, so for me to say they are light feeling means something! I like that they have good ankle support without looking too bulky. We will see how they perform today at work.
