Love my new boots the look great and are well made ... The zipper is something new for me but works great so far

I'm on my third pair of these boots and love them they last a long time and take a decent abuse

These are great!!! True to fit, at least for me. No break in required very comfortable.

I've used work boots for years. Thanks to the previous reviews, I ordered my pair undersized by 1/2 inch and they fit perfect. Also note, I installed my own arch supports in with no problem. They're comfortable and well made.

The only issue I had with them is that they were really stiff when I first started wearing them.

Once they have been broken in, they are a very comfortable boot.

These fit well and are durable.

Bates makes great utility boots and this is no exception, but I highly recommend that you replace the included sole insert with a better orthotic if you wear them for long periods or heavy use.

I usually get about two months out of a pair of boots. I am now on my second pair of boots the first pair lasted about a year.

I really was happy with the fit right out the box they were comfortable , These are 8 boots and they are nice and light. The side zippers make putting them on and taking them off very easy. After a long day at work or in the out doors they make taking them off a dream zip and they slip right off. They are a good buy and a good quality duty boot that should last and wear well .

I have purchased these boots for over 20 years and will always buy them. Love them!!!

So I'll keep it short, I have had these for more than a year now and I have a lot of great things to say. I needed these for landscaping primarily as well as anything like helping people move and hiking. I wanted something all around. I will say if your looking for a replacement for a steel toe this isn't it, while there way better than shoes protection wise there not perfect. The real game changer for me with these is the zipper on the side. I hate lacing up especially if I'm in and out and have to do several times a day and they don't stay tight sometimes etc. These make it as easy as slipping on some slippers. They breathe way better than other boots I've used and there pretty comfortable. I used them consistently for months wearing them at work and then to activity's, something like 10-11 hours straight a day. No issues. They haven't fallen apart as I expected with the price even though I'm told Bates is super reputable. They do great hiking and with a little leather treatment for after resistance my feet aren't soaked in the grass or what ver when I'm camping. Love how thick the sole is. And lastly, they look sweet, I don't feel out of place wearing them to anything social. So ya, great buy, you won't find anything of this quality cheaper

Short break in time. Very comfortable. I wear these almost daily at work. As others have said, they are sized a bit big. My feet are 11 1/2, but I usually buy a 12. So when I ordered I went with an 11 1/2. Should have ordered an 11 but was afraid they would be too small.Overall, love these boots!

I love Bates boots, almost no break in like you have with others. I love my Red Wings and Danners, however if you want a durable boot without the week long foot-ache and break in that comes with them, these are the path. When my current pair wear out, I will be buying another. I prefer the desert tan, my feet sweat less in them.
