My waist is 27 inches and did not fit this scarf. They should disclose the size on the website. Do not order it unless your waist is over 35 inches. It was 8 inches longer and I have to spent $7 to ship it back. They even tried to charge a restocking fee. I complained and they waived it. The website never mentioned a restocking fee.

Purchased several in different colors. Took a class and will be returning - never knew belly dancing used so many muscles. My husband LOVES it. :)

Rating is because how beautiful it is the color I love One this is that is not really moveable in another word for belly dance I would use it only for look as it don't really sound like a heavy coin scarf would but satisfied with the product

The color is so nice and shiny. Item arrived in less than a week and price is not expensive. I was worried that it wouldn't fit since I'm a size 18 on jeans, I do recommend buying this product

When my girls in the group put on the hip scarf, they turn into different people. Lots of coins to make lots of noise. The colours on these hip scarfs are great! So bright and sound great when the music is on. It's like going to a different country where they have Belly Dancing and you can fit right in. So much fun! I know I will end up ordering more because my classes are getting bigger.

Very pretty, and made well. It is plenty long for me to tie around my hips. (size 8) It's my favorite color. I wish the shipping was not so expensive, but for a handmade item, you have to pay a little more, I guess.

One of the ladies in my class called this scarf showy and I have to agree. I just love wearing it--it's fun to have something different. I've seen some comments on scarves like these that there isn't enough bell-jangling, but I felt there was just enough. It was shorter than I realized it would be, and it does tend to sit low and slinks down without my noticing (I have this issue with almost all of my scarves, that they start to slink down my hips), but I think it's worth it. My class loves it, too. Good price, and a lot of fun--probably a four-star product, but it makes me so happy, I gave it five!

I got this for one of my Zumba instructors and she LOVES it. It is a bit heavier than other hip scarves and allows you to feel your hip movement a bit better.
