My first belly dance veil purchase, but I have borrowed veils from others in my group. The one I received, while beautiful, is definitely too small. The length may be fine, but the width is for sure too short. I'm 5'4" and my fingertips are only about 1" from the edges of the veil when I hold it so that it stretches along my arms. Fine for practice, but I'm going to have to find a standard size veil for performances. Quality seems good and it's very pretty, so it might end up a costume accessory more than a dance veil. From what I understand, the standard size is 106" x 47" (270cm x 120cm), and the measurements here are definitely not it. I hadn't known when I ordered though. But for the price, I'm not going to bother returning.

Fabric too heavy for performing but very pretty.

I wear this as a shawl sometimes and it looks great! so sexy and just different!But as far as belly dancing with it goes it is heavy and hard to do tricks with.You get a work out in when you dance with this veil- which is good or bad depending on the person.The sequences are on good!This smelled funny when I open the bag-but nothing fresh air cant solveI would not buy it again.But I am happy I have it

the material is very nice the color en everything , but it should by 47 inches wide and is 54, so to wide also it should be more long a least 2 yards 1/2 but is only 78 ' so is to short to the bally dance, is ok for some things but not for everything, it happened the same with another black that I got from this seller and I keep it because a least was more long but to wide too. So I decide return the item the seller don't make any problem but they are charging me 20% for stocking back , and also my shipping back , when the make the mistake with the measure .So I have a lot of merchandise on my wish list to order form this place but I decide don't do it !! I got all what I need form EBay for the same price free shipping and free return if something is wrong, I wont buy again from this seller also I told my group don't buy from this seller.

So these are not made of the best material but for $9 you cant beat it. The sequins are a little cheep looking but they are sewn evenly and I don't think they look bad.

This is just an expensive piece of fabric. Nothing special bu I could have gotten this a lt cheaper from my neighborhood fabric store.
