This skirt is gorgeous and lightweight, twirls beautifully and has a simple elastic waistband. The waistband was much too tight for my preference, especially where I like to wear the skirt low on my hips for belly dancing, and the skirt was far too long for me (I'm 5'4). So the elastic isn't really a one-size-fits-all deal, and I ended up removing it and replacing it with a drawstring. Material is a somewhat coarsely woven cotton, with a matte finish. While the coarseness of the weave isn't very noticeable and a lining material underneath prevents the skirt from becoming see-through, the material does fade somewhat after two or three washings to a slightly dull black/grey. Also, the hem of the skirt can become bunched up very easily, so I'd recommend either ironing the hem or hanging the skirt to dry. Overall, I wish I'd paid less than $30 for this item because it doesn't fit perfectly and requires some maintenance if it's to be used for performing, but it's still a good beginner item.

It was very long, and light, and i loved it, wore it almost every day. then my husband washed it and now it might possibly fit a middle school girl... im sad now and i want a new one...

Let me start off by saying I am not a fan of the Rose Red color--it is very bright and looks more like a hot pink. The length of the skirt however, is great. It's wide enough to wrap around yourself and create accents for your hips and it's comfortable and cotton so it's easy to wash as well. Overall happy with my purchase.

Ordered the navy blue, it is lighter than I thought that it would be, which I like.I felt gorgeous wearing it.

Nothing special, not worth ordering again. Some of the seems were unraveling. I ordered black but the color was faded like it had been washed many times...very faded. It works for my purpose but expected better quality.

I really love this skirt, it's great! Only problem I have with it, and it's partially my fault, is that it's a little big on me. I wear a 4/6 in Women's petite pants and I'm 5'3" so it runs a little long and the elastic is slightly, ONLY SLIGHTLY large on me. Otherwise, I LOVE how it flows, it's just beautiful!

Color was more pink than I had expected. Not a full skirt either,like the one in the picture, definitely can't grab anything, wouldn't recommend this if you need a full skirt for belly dance. It's a good practice skirt perhaps.

When I searched this item I searched "25 yard skirt" and this is what the results showed. I was shocked to see such a great price on it I thought "what is the catch?". I went for it any way. I realized what the catch was, it is not a 25 yard skirt. The diameter is barley even six. The skirt has a nice flow to it when left alone, however it does not have enough fabric to do any of the dance moves when you grab it, there are no ruffles and no ripples. And when I tried to tuck it, it just looked awkward. The skirt itself is nice, has a good color and is long and I will keep it as part of my wardrobe, however it does not work at all for what I got it for.

I really liked this skirt. It's long enough and has enough material to be used in skirt dances. Also, I'm a 2X usually and this skirt did in fact fit without making me look ridiculous. It was a little too long, however, and came with no care instructions.

I just received a lovely 25 yard skirt at a VERY reasonable price. It's hard to find a skirt with this much material for less than 50 dollars. This one was 29 dollars including shipping and it's a very nice well made skirt. The only issue is that it is too long but the good news is...even though I can't sew, I can at least hem and this one is going to be an any fix.

I love this skirt! I'm 5'6" and it fits perfectly. The skirt is of good quality; nice and lightweight. Perfect for belly dancing.
