They seem a little stiff, even after washing. I do wish the legs zipped all the way to the hip like my old ones. They did fit just right, but that was just a guess on my part. The sizing chart is a joke.

They were still a little bit long, but they fit everywhere else.

The inside had a lot of loose strings we had to fix. The zippers got hung once on them. They're really heavy and heavy duty. Uh just about an inch too long for my dad. He wears 40/32 in pants and the 2x is what we got. The crotch of it literally sits against your crotch. It's not bad, but just a tid bit of information you should know.

Nice coveralls, was expecting them to be a little softer material. Also a little long for a "Short" size. Overall satisfied

We live in the NE and weather can sometimes get VERY cold. Currently we have snow outside and it has been ranging in the 0-20 degrees.

I ordered a 2XL for my husband. Normally he wears a large (42-44) in shirts and 34-36 in jeans. He is 6'2" and 220ish pounds. I was torn on the sizing to order for him. I wanted to be sure he has enough room for the clothes he wears underneath (long underwear, wool sweater, jeans and wool jacket).

Without all the extra base layers, the shoulders fit him great but the midsection is fairly big on him. As in balloons out to give Santa room for his belly. My husband is broad in the shoulders but narrow in the waist. These are definitely roomy enough for those with a gut. If he didn't wear the coat and jeans under these, I would go to an XL tall and hope the shoulders are not tighter. As the weather warms up, we may get an XL tall to try. We'll see.

He says for now, the sizing 2 XL tall works perfect as he would rather wear his wool coat underneath than have it on the outside and have it get ruined. The coat costs more than the coveralls.

The legs are very wide but he also like this as he can put them on with his danner boots on. Even though the coveralls are huge on him, I think he likes that he can wear his usual work outfit and then just pull these on without having to unlace his 10 inch high boots or take off his other layers. When in the office, he can easily take this off and when he needs to go outside, he steps back into the coveralls.

These could definitely be longer considering we ordered the 2 XL large TALL. He didn't seem to notice but I feel that it would better for them to be on the long side so people could have them taken in if they desire. They definitely fit the same way they fit the model pictured. A little high. The inseam measures less than 29 inches. This seems short to me for "tall".

Currently he is wearing:
Base layer: size large duo-fold long underwear (double layer of cotton and polyester), both top and bottom. He also wears his Levi jeans.
Mid layers: size XL Minus33 Expedition merino wool 1/4 zip pullover.
He also wears thick wool socks with Danner boots with added insulation (highly recommend these!).
Head and face: Inferno fleece head and face covering.
Hands: Kinkos insulated gloves with a liner under those if needed.

Cotton is the worse for cold weather gear so my goal is to eventually have him in high quality winter gear. Google "Cotton Is Killer" article. Informative!

Please note: These are NOT water proof. The outer shell is most definitely cotton (think jeans) while the insulated layer is polyester. For dry snow, this is probably fine. Rain, no. If you need waterproof, look for their "duck" label.

Hopefully this reviews helps another!

I previously had Dickies insulated coveralls. They had more insulation, fit better, and were made better with one exception - the main zipper broke on two separate coveralls. To date, the insulation on the Berne's coverall is adequate, and the zipper has not broken, though it has hardly been tested.

These are very nice and well made, but my husband just has a hard time getting his arms into the sleeves, they need a little more room in the shoulders. Also we live in the south, and these are more suitable for really cold weather.

had some problems with a delivery mix-up. but when it got here it was exactly what he wanted. Be sure to buy a little bigger than you need it to be. After several washings all of these coveralls get a bit snug. Buy bigger and you won't have any problems! My son was delighted.

I had to shorten the coveralls but we expected that. Fit fine other wise. The sleeves was somewhat difficult to shorten due to the ribbed cuff. My son was satisfied.

My husband was very pleased with these coveralls. They fit perfectly over his usual winter layering for outside work. He is 5'9", about 190 lbs. and I ordered the XL short. The first time he wore them the temperature was in the 30's and he said the coveralls more than kept him warm, he actually had to come out of them because he got too hot.
