One of the great benefits is they also automatically take care of the stock rotation. The food is dispensed from the bottom of the bin, and you refill the container from the top; this means that you're using up the older food first, adding new food as needed, without ever having to empty the bin. This eliminates having to keep track of old and new, and also simplifies your bulk pantry.
