Mission: The mission of Bethany House is to empower survivorsof domestic violence and their children by providinglong-term transitional shelter and advocacy tomaximize safety, ensure access to resources, andrestore hope with dignity and respect.

Results: Since 1984, Bethany House has provided over 300,000 nights of safe shelter to over 2,000 individuals - providing hope and healing to domestic violence victims.

Target demographics: We serve all victims of domestic violence, regardless of gender or orientation, and all Bethany House services are provided free of charge.

Geographic areas served: Northwest Ohio

Programs: The physical signs of domestic abuse may heal quickly but the emotional and psychological recovery takes time. Bethany House provides safe long-term transitional shelter and advocacy to victims of domestic violence and their children. In addition to safe, stable housing, Bethany House provides emotional support and financial resources, and gives survivors the time needed to rebuild their lives. Our goal is to reduce feelings of isolation and shame, and empower survivors to take control of their futures.
