I have bought this for years and loved the carmel-ly deep flavor that it imparts - enough to simply nibble it off a spoon. I am told by the company that here is some variability with seasons, crops, etc., but imho, it is always better than standard grocery store stuff.

The sugar is in a cellophane wrapper in a box. The cellophane wrapper is pretty flimsy, and when you open it, it is likely to tear so as to become unusable or nearly so. Carefully cutting off a portion at the top shoud prevent this.

I love to use this in recipes that call for brown sugar. It has a richer, more complex, slightly less sweet taste than regular brown sugar. Perfect for treats you are baking, especially for people older than children (who might prefer just the plain sweetness of ordinary brown sugar).

It's been a while that I've been wanting to buy muscovado for the desserts I make but I found them to be expensive. Thankfully, I found this great deal here with the subscription discount, I only paid a fraction of the amount. So happy with this purchase! This 10 lbs should last for some time.

Of the many unprocessed sugars I've tried I like this one best. Its flavor is right, it dissolves instantly, and it's compact, so there's more sweetness per spoonful than is found with brands that have looser packaging. I like, too, the individual 1 lb. boxes which offer up a fresh batch of sugar each time one is needed, as opposed to reopening a 5 lb. bag, for example.

This dark brown sugar is amazing. It makes everything taste better. I even put it in my pancake batter. For the fall I added it to my Apple Crisp, for the holidays I will add it to my cookies. It is natural sugar with the molasses, so the flavor is strong. It arrives soft and fresh. Store carefully, like all brown sugar it will harden.

We use this sugar when we make pots of black tea, it's always what you'll find in our sugar bowl. We used to use the cubes but this dissolves faster and the taste is perfect.

It's literally Muscovado Sugar. We LOVE it and will never go back to refined brown sugar. It tastes better, its better for you and you use it 1 to 1.
