I use this dark brown sugar for baking, but mostly for my hot oatmeal. Billington's adds just the right sweetness and flavor to the hot cereal and to my rum pumpkin pie.

This makes the deepest flavor notes in whatever you use it in. I buy it in bulk because no other brown sugar compares. Ginger cookies, brown sugar cake, ginger bread, peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies, pecan pie. The list goes on.

Hands down, the best, most flavorful brown sugar on earth. Crisp and chewy cookies are a good start, but it's amazing in BBQ rubs and wing sauces. It's not for beginners.

I was hunting for a sugar with that lovely molasses flavor AND in crystalline form. This is perfect! A few others I've tried were essentially like American brown sugar in consistency - moist and sticky. Billingtons is exactly what a demerara should be - flows like sugar, crunchy like sugar, but with that wonderful molasses flavor that I love. Similar to the product, Raw Sugar in the US, but Raw Sugar has less molasses flavor. Billington's is delicious and comes in one pound packages which I found very convenient. The cellophane surrounding the demerara inside the box is flimsy, so be careful opening it - you won't want to lose a single teaspoon of it!

I bake with no other sugar than this one. It's the absolute best. After you have tasted this sugar you will not go back to using ordinary brown sugar.

I use brown sugar for baking and cooking. Sometimes I even made brown sugar if run out (simply mixing sugar with molasses). This dark brown sugar is darker than most store bought ones, probably because it contains more molasses. Great flavor! Very happy and will keep using it.

Was hesitant to place order after reading reviews of customers who only received single pack, but 10 pack package arrived two days later, and the sugar was even soft - no need to resoften. I ordered a new oxo steel pop air-tight container to keep it in, and couldn't be happier with my purchases.

I just received it today and have already used some. It is very good. It seemed to be fresh. It is very dark in color and still moist. They are also priced competitively. I was purchasing another brand and they doubled in price which I am glad they did because I ended up buying this brand and it tastes much better.
