I just received it today and have already used some. It is very good. It seemed to be fresh. It is very dark in color and still moist. They are also priced competitively. I was purchasing another brand and they doubled in price which I am glad they did because I ended up buying this brand and it tastes much better.

Once you have used this you will never go back. I use this in any recipe that lists brown sugar as an ingredient - and some that do not! Do have a jar and a terracotta brown sugar saver handy: the bag tears very easily and you do not want to waste this. Trust me.

VERY strong flavor. If you like dark molasses, you'll love it. If not....get the regular dark brown sugar from the grocery store. It kind of overpowers other flavors in my cookies. The packaging is great because it's several individually sealed packages to prevent hardening.

Once you bake with Billingston Dark Brown Molasses Sugar, you'll never want to use regular dark brown sugar again. Seriously delicious. Adds great depth of flavor and your cookies, puddings, cakes and other sweets will make your tasters think you're a Five Star Baker!
