This worked really well. I had vehicle with leather seats that had been smoked in for years and I left this in the vehicle for about 20 hours and the smoke smell was gone. It didn't come out of the actual fabric if you put your nose up to it, but you can't tell there was a smoker in it just by sitting it in.

Bought a 2 year old vehicle that smelled like heavy cleaner from detailing. When that wore off, you could tell they were masking a smoker having owned before. Needed to do 2 shock treatments about 1 month apart, but got rid of the smell. Important to recirculate air after using, before opening windows. Saved me from selling the car.

Left my windows open during a torrential downpour and soaked my truck. Tried baking soda, and other products to remove the strong mildew smell, with no luck until this little gem was unleashed. It's powerful. Be cautious and do not inhale the vapors when mixing the water and powder. Left overnight (efficacy reduced by sunlight according to the instructions) and crossed my fingers. The next morning the mildew odor was gone, replaced by a strong, but not overpowering chlorine smell that persisted for about three weeks. Bottom line, this product works, just read and follow all the instructions.

I had a horrible odor from lemonade that leaked in my trunk. I had my car detailed to no avail. I replaced a section in my trunk at a little over $300 but to no avail. So I tried this and for the most part it worked. There's a very faint scent lingering so I've bought another to hopefully get that little bit gone. I would highly recommend you try this. I gave it 4-stars because of the lingering faint smell. After I do the next one and the smell is completely gone I'll revise my review.

This is a great product. This type of chlorine bombs are used by car lots to eliminate smoke other odors, but I read they also help get rid of spiders because they hate the smell. So I actually bought it to get rid of a spider that made a home in my husband's car. He's a baby wanted to set the whole car on fire... instead, I figured it was cheaper safer to try this first. It's really easy to use worked like a charm. No more spider, and it had the effect of clearing all the different smoke smells my hubby has built up in the car. Now we don't have to buy a new car AND I don't have to worry about them searching him if he's ever pulled over. So if you want your car spider-free, are a non-smoker that bought a used car, or simply don't want your car smelling like it's 4/20 all the time, this is for you

I was a smoker quit but I wanted to get rid of the smell, after using this I was afraid it might do harm to the interior of the car It didn't. It got rid of the smell altogether thank heavens.

After reading the reviews I've decided to go with this product.. it absolutely worked great and no issues with my leather interior. It does have a strong lingering chlorine smell that lasted a couple of weeks but the odor is totally eliminated going on a few months now. Will buy again if needed

leave this vehicle running with AC or HEAT, FULL BLAST, top vents selected, for at least 30 minutes. After 30 minutes turn off vehicle, and leave vehicle closed up for as long as possible.. 12-24 hours.. Do this after sunset if outdoors, and possibly a warm dry climate, because you need to ventilate vehicle for several hours to a full day..

Some critter crawled up inside my car and died somewhere I could not find or get to. The dead animal smell gradually decreased over a year or so, but was still there, so I bombed it with this shocker. Dead animal smell gone (Yes!), but replaced with a chlorine smell (Oh no!). Did this on the last 50 degree day in MN and aired it out all day for a couple of days afterward in the 40s. The smell has gradually diminished but is till quite noticeable. I hope when it gets warm again in spring that it will dissipate entirely.

I needed to rid my car of gasoline fumes that had been contaminating my car for over two weeks. I used this very easy-to-use product a week ago. Over a 14-hour period, I let it do its work. Afterward, the gasoline odor was completely gone. In its place was a rather strong scent that was far more appealing than the gasoline smell, but still strong. No problem, after driving the car around with the windows open, that too was, for the most part, gone. I highly recommend for odors that you just can get rid of.

Our truck was stolen. After recovery it reaked of smoke. We followed the instructions and left it in over night.Maybe just 4 hours would have been enough. It took a month for the chemical smell to subside enough my wife wouldn't complain about it.No smoke smell though so I guess that's a win. I would buy again if needed but probably do a lighter treatment

I purchased this product because paint thinner had spilled in my car and the smell was toxic and would not go away after a full car detail. I thought I was going to need to sell the car until I used the Auto Shocker. I followed the directions and left the product in my car for about 12 hours. It completely elimated the odor. There is a clean residual smell from the product but I don't mind it since it's a clean smell and not a toxic smell. Thanks Auto Shocker. You saved me $40,000!

Used this to help get rid of old fish smell from a package of fish that leaked on the carpet. The liquid from the fish sat overnight and the sat in the sun the next day. My husband tried odor eliminator spays and a car wash detail and lots of air fresheners that just created a stinky headache producing mess. We were going on a road trip so I used this overnight and it did a pretty good job of getting rid of the smell and probably an accumulation of other smells too. My husband made a comment about how nice it was to finally have a clean smelling car. I was thrilled to get rid of the stinky air fresheners which I think are sometimes worse than the odor you are trying to cover up. Will purchase again if needed.

Nothing I do works to eliminate all odors, but this one does. It smells like really strong bleachy smell afterwards, but it is so much better than a stale cigarette smoke. Really works!

Overall, the after affect was good. However, no where on the container or data sheet does it warn you about the exploding factor. I was lucky in that i did set it in a 13 x 9 in pan - but it still exploded everywhere which took some time to clean up. When i was done with the cleanup - I was happy with the overall results.I will buy it again, but will have a screen container to contain the mess. DO NOT be anywhere near the container 10 seconds after you add the water
