It took a lot of searching to become confident that this should work even though the Bissell site says there is no such part number. What apparently matters more is the Style, which on the 3031123 is shown as 7/9/10; the new belt fits Styles 7/9/10/12.

This is not the actual 7/9/10/12 belt replacement.As soon as I turned my vacuum on,the belt popped.I should've known something wasn't right with the belt because the info regarding the belt looks likes it's stamped on there To fit Bissell style 7/9/10/12.Go to the Bissell website and order the actual belts that you need.

It was what I needed to make my vacuum work properly and I understand that it's a common issue with them. So don't do what I did and purchase another vacuum just buy a belt and fix the one you currently have.

I was hesitant to purchase at 1st due to reading bad reviews about it not fitting/snapping. I have to say it works for my Bissell model 2191. My wife has vacuumed at least 10 times and it works like the original belt. I installed it (it fits snug) and rotated the vacuum brush a few times before using it. I attached pics so you can see the size of the new belt compared to the original snapped belt. Overall great price and also great that it came with 2 belts so if this one snaps in the next few years, I have a back up.

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because, despite this being a good product, I had to go to YouTube for directions on how to install. This was my first time ever changing a belt. The video also showed me how to correctly clean the brush as well.NOTE: I'm not very technical.
