This was close but did not look exactly the same. It was slightly longer. I got it installed but it would not release. My vacuum was locked in upright position. I stepped on it harder and it broke off. BUMMER!

The originally specified part is discontinued and nobody on the web has it or could suggest a substitute. I finally went to a local vacuum and sewing machine shop (Green's in Medford Oregon) and they were able to cross reference the originally specified OEM part number to this one. I ordered it and installed it. Works!

There's really not much to say here. It's a vaccume lever. It installed easily and it got the vaccume up and running again fast. Good stuff.

This is the correct part for our Bissell vac. I watched an online video re: how to replace the part. Easy. This part totally fixed the problem.

I was surprised at how easy this was to install. It took me a minute to figure out how to get the old one out but once I popped it out the new piece literally slid into place and it fits perfect.

Exactly like the broken part, easy to put in after watching a UT video and came very quickly. You only need a flashlight and 2 screwdrivers to remove the old one and slide in the new one.

I was happy, so happy it fit my vacuum. I googled how to remove the broken handle release and install the new one. Pretty easy to do. My vacuum is back to working, without the handle falling on the floor. The handle release came on time and in great shape! Very happy with my purchase! Thank you for your outstanding service!

So glad to have found this pedal to push along the life of my Bissell vacuum. I recommend using two flathead screwdrivers with the help of another person to pull the foot pedal out once it's release. New one pops right in after.

Exact fix for my vacuum but having to buy them from time to time is frustrating. That being said, it works but just not for long enough. This is not the fault of this product. It is the original design that is the problem. The thin plastic just breaks after some moderate use.
