Said it would fit my product. Now it's stuck, making the vacuum useless. It's too stiff to flex doesn't look like the product pictured. I cannot remove it without further breaking this piece of garbage, so returning is impossible.

Does not fit 6584. Looks like it will fit our 1240 though. So we'll keep it, since they break easily.

Fairly easy to install after watching a how to video of how to get old one out.

The release lever was heavier plastic than the original and needed a little trimming of one of the underside stiffeners so it fit perfectly.
