Fortunately these new springs came with fresh new bolts already captured inside of each of the springs.Unless you have special skills and equipment, I don't see any easy way to DIY this using springs you may have found elsewhere: the top and bottom metal pieces are installed extremely tightly on each spring, and so I don't see how you'd ever get them off the old springs and onto the new ones. For the same reason, I don't even see how they would ever even be adjustable either.After installing the new springs, my Tornado II seems to shake a lot more vigorously than before. I guess in the short term that's good news, because it means better paint shaking. In the longer term, maybe it means faster spring metal fatigue, leading to more spring replacements sooner rather than later.... I guess time will tell.
