Over my first Covid lock down in high school I used discus as my escape from my house. I graduated 2 years ago and I still take these discus with me, they definitely do the job.

We recommend painting a bright side to the discus because first throw we lost it in the grass. Lol

Bought this disc for my daughter to use for practice at school. She loves it, has yet to throw the streamed lined disc I bought for meets, has set to PR's so far this season.Cudos to Champion for running a special offering the travel bag at a discount.

Our athletic director wanted my daughter to try discus this year rather than just her running events and long jump. We always try to learn things at home first since our coaches generally just tell the kids what events and the kids have to learn it on their own (same for all our sports). We purchased this and after an hour working by herself and an hour with my husband after he made her a circle she went to her first practice. The coach said she's a natural and she's the type of athlete they want! One who will buy her own practice gear and work on her own. She's good enough she's competing against their top 3 girls in practice to see if she will take their spot at the first meet. I highly recommend getting this and watching videos about correct form so your child will be ahead at the first practice! Seems like it'll hold up for awhile but if it doesn't I'm still happy with it because it has served it's purpose and was only around 13 bucks.
