The only reason I bought a new one of these is I gave my old roommate the last one. I had one of these for 6 years and never had a single issue with it. Lights every single time as long as you have gas. The only time I had an issue is when a I left it outside. A spider crawled in the barrel preventing gas from going through. The moment I got him out of there it fired up like every single other time I've ever used it. I'll never buy another torch brand again.

This is the most reliable craft torch I've used in my more than 30 years of DIYfing. I'm using it for a multitude of applications, from lighting my cigars to coocking, to crafts. It excels in every application. And it feels perfect in my hands.

I had trouble getting my copper bezels hot enough to solder with my Dremel torch. I read that this torch would do the trick and it easily did! It is pretty strong even with a small turn of the gas so I still use my Dremel torch for smaller things.

The torch gets your dab nail hot right away only issue I noticed is when you turn it on a lower setting the gas sputters out and the flame won't stay lit good torch overall well worth what you pay for it looks nice works nice good product!

This gt8000 torch produces a nice flame, very precise almost like a needle point. Heats up anything I need within seconds. Much better than other crme brule or kitchen torches as this big shot torch is aircraft and industrial grade.

Absolute piece of crap for the price. My 18$18 torch is way better. This is an overpriced ripoff which is why they offer “NO RETURNS”!!!

I am using this to solder sterling silver jewelry. If you are using this for the same purpose, I would recommend getting a smaller torch for small items like jump rings. I did melt one with this. You can only turn it down so much before it starts to sputter. I am using Vector 14X butane and it works great. Not sure on durability, yet. I have only used it for a few projects, but so far so good. Easy to light, fill and handle.

So the first time I tried to buy one the igniter broke. This one has been pretty great so far. Easy to use, nice and compact for travel.

This thing is awesome with one caveat: there's very, very little difference between full-blast and barely-on. In turning the adjustment dial, it's effectively the same flame.This isn't for detail work. It'll sear a sous vide steak in no time or toast the top of a pizza when the crust is already done though!

This is by far my favorite soldering gun. The flame is quite strong for intricate projects. But if you are working on thicker wire this tool is perfect.

I absolutely love this torch, works in almost any orientation, holds lots of fuel, the fuel valve allows for a finely tunable flame. My one annoyance is that now after 2 years of nearly daily use, the ignition system has gotten touchy and doesn't ignite the flame on the first go.

I've had this torch for almost two years now and run it almost daily. Heats up my nail quickly and efficiently, which yields a good dab. My friend has had one for over four years now. Only downside is that it eats up butane faster than most torches
