I needed to make black frosting and this worked perfectly. Flavor was delicious and I only had to add a couple small drops of gel color.

It tastes decadent and freshIt's very dark and I bought it to make black buttercream. Works perfectly with an addition to a few drops of black food coloring.

This is the first time I had ever used black cocoa and to say I'm surprised at the taste would be an understatement!This stuff is fantastic!Ever wonder why Oreo Cookies are so dark? BACK COCOA!It makes everything that you put it in, taste like an Oreo and is intensely blackI'm in love with this product!

Amazing, rich flavor like Oreos, and awesome dark -almost black- color. So much better than grocery store cocoa powder! I've been using it in oatmeal with bananas.

I used the black coco powder for the chocolate cake and frosting. It gave the black color I needed for the Halloween theme wedding cake/cupcakes without the bitter after taste that you get using food coloring. The chocolate flavor was outstanding.

Have made a couple things with this and enjoyed both. It makes a nice dark, near black, chocolate cake with an Oreo-like flavor.

It's not as black as the Cocoa Trader brand. Taste-wise it is trumped by both Droste and Valrhona cocoa powders, but that is a somewhat unfair comparison since neither Droste nor Valrhona are black cocoas. It strikes some happy middle ground in between the jet black Cocoa Trader powder and a regular dutched cocoa.

This stuff is amazing and will turn anything into a chocolate sandwich cookie-flavored delight. Makes great oatmeal, chocolate peanut butter dip, chocolate milk (add 5g of powder and some sweetener to a tiny bit of hot water, mix together well and then stir in milk), you name it.
