Be are not to use too much as can be bitter but just right amount makes great black cookies.

When I decided to try my hand at making Chocoflan, I followed a recipe that called for dark cocoa powder. Having no experience with using dark cocoa, I arbitrarily decided on Modern Mountain's product. I do not regret that decision. Since Modern Mountain's is the only dark cocoa powder I've ever used, I cannot compare it to other dark cocoa powders, but I can say that my cake came out rich, super chocolatey and very, very delicious, receiving unanimous and enthusiastic approval from my family. I look forward to trying this cocoa in other recipes that call for unsweetened cocoa powder, as I found it's flavor to be superior to other natural (not dark) cocoa powders I've used. UPDATE: I recently used this product to make Alton Brown's chocolate ice cream recipe, and it turned out to be the best, most chocolaty chocolate ice cream I'ver ever had.

Lo use para obtener un color negro en betn. Y me salio perfecto el color. Aunque batalle para quitar el sabor tan fuerte de cacao que tiene. Al final agregue crema de batir y me quedo sabor a oreo. Tengan cuidado con agregar demas. Muy buen producto.

Nice for baking makes baking item dark. Also I used it to make dark hot cocoa( little sweeter needed)

Misleading information. They make it look healthy and 'all natural' but the way it is processed strips the antioxidants which is why I wanted cocoa in the first place for the antioxidants!!

I ordered this to make Halloween cookies. It worked great! The cookies turned out black and tasted like Oreos. I added some Halloween MM's and the cookies were a hit.

I made a black velvet version of black forest cake with cherries for a Halloween party, and it turned out beautifully! Gorgeous black cake that was very tasty and not overly sweet (because the velvet cakes are great for that!). The frosting was dark grey, but it looked great with some black dusting sugar and some cherries on top, so I didn't mind. Last time I made a black cake, I had to hunt down food coloring and use so much that it didn't taste as nice. I'm glad to not have to do that now, unless I want to darken up that frosting a little bit.
