Causes: Environment, Land Resources Conservation

Mission: To conserve in perpetuity land and water resources that support the long- term health and well-being of the natural and human communities on the blue hill peninsula.

Programs: The organization worked to 1) protect valuable conservation land for the benefit of the human and natural communities of the region 2) monitored its 68 easement properties (3633 acres) and maintained relationships with current owners 3) managed the 3,292 acres of conservation land owned by the trust, for the preservation of conservation value 4) maintained public access on 27 miles of trails and multiple shoreline access points 5) served its communities by offering free and public educational programs, for both children and adults.
