Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2021, BMHS cared for 1,921 animals. 1,356 animals were adopted into forever homes. We remained a no-kill shelter with a 97.2% live release rate. BMHS performed 4,055 S/N surgeries, placed 428 animals in 108 foster homes, and returned 442 lost pets to their families.
