We have koi we got from Walmart as small fry that have been of this food for several years. They are outgrowing their tank and no health issues !

I have finicky fish, they refuse to eat any old koi food. They definitely prefer this food and since the switch my older koi seem to be getting their color back and looking healthier.

My koi love this food. They go crazy for it. I was feeding them with a more pricey brand but looking for a cheaper brand. I found this brand. Decided to give it a try. I noticed my pond water color changed after feeding with this brand. It used to be super clear but now its yellowish (cloudy looking). I do notice the reds seem more intense. I still feed them this but not every day. Mix it with other brand.

I keep 3 or 4 koi foods on hand the give them variety, this year I added Blue Ridge color to their diet and they go extra wild for it. I even noticed over the last 4 weeks the koi's colors seem more intense.

Having a larger bag of fish food is more convenient than the little vials that the fish go through in a few weeks. These pellets are slow to break down, and I've seen the koi and goldfish in our pond devour them, so I'm guessing the food must be OK. I'm not a fish so I can't say more.
