I received the pump on June 6th my pool was very cloudy and 3 days later my pool is clear. I read some of the reviews and some had said this pump was no good,for me it works perfectly and it also has good suction power works good like my original pump that came with my pool

The filter is great, but the pump is not circulating the water with enough power to keep the debris in the center of the pool as my old one did.

works great, very quiet. My only complaint is that the plug is a three prong standard plug, not the three prong locking plug (twist and lock) that was on the previous pump. Seems it could be a possible safety issue if your power source is near where there may be kids playing. I did like that the system was a kit and had all the hoses and fittings needed to get it up and running. My old pump "head" cracked and I had it hard plumbed into my pool. The inclusion of the parts for hookup allowed me to unhook the old, put the new sand in the new unit and have it running in about 2 hours.

So far so good. I haven't had it for very long as I received it just about a month ago. It seems to be working fine, better than my old DE filter. The true test will be how it performs for an entire summer next season. Right now I have no complaints. It came on time and was as pictured.
