Makes you feel better about installing your own liner but, once removed, you already have some sand cove there. Its really easier to just build up the existing cove with sand. Otherwise, you have to remove it all and create flat surface for this to adhere to the sidewall. To do over, I would skip it.

Overall happy with these. They went on ready and stuck well enough to stay in place until the liner was installed. My one complaint is they are short. I ordered a box of 22, 48 inch pieces. That should be about 88 feet total. My box did about 81 feet, 4 feet less than I needed.

When you receive your box, don't do what I did and assume all your pieces are there. I ordered the 22 piece box and only had 20 pieces in there when I opened it to install. You may not have enough for your dimensions, so was cheated 2 pieces I paid for. Contacting seller when they are open, but it's the weekend, so they're closed.Easy to install, not a sticky as some stated. Purchased in hopes of protecting our beautiful liner along the edges of the pool and to help with the affirmative pool cleaner. Time will tell.

Easy to use, fit together well. Only complaint was there were a couple of them that did not seem to stick to the pool wall as well. I do not know if they had less adhesive material or what but it only happened with 2 or 3 out of the whole box. All the others worked perfectly with no issues.

This was the first time we've used a cove around our pool. I can definitely see how they would help protect the liner if the sand around the edge shifts. It was easy to install. Rather than simply using the built in adhesive strip, we used duct tape to help secure it.

Some what disappointed in the size of this product, I was expecting it to be a bigger wedge. But it was installed by professionals and I haven't had any problems with it. There are sticky strips on the back that hold them in place. And a lot easier than dealing with sand banking. Still feels very firm after an entire season of being installed

Much easier than sand. The back is tough to peel off but once you get the hang of it, its easy to place. Just stick it where you want it.

This was and easy install and great for that cove of the same size all the way around the pool. However, be careful when pulling the sticker off to stick to the wall. Sometimes the entire sticky strip cam off with the protector strip. I had some spray adhesive on stand by to use when this happen. Real easy to use. I used a cushion under my knees to help scoot around faster.

Works great. Sometimes they would not stick, sometimes they would despite cleaning my walls first. I used Gorilla brand duct tape to hold to walls and over the seems which worked great.

Purchased and installed these recently. The product overall is great. Very easy to install and trim as needed when installing the last piece.Tip - Clean your pool walls with rubbing alcohol where the tape will make contact with the metal.. This will take any oil residue and dirt off the metal and give the tape a better bond.I did have an adhesion issue on 2 of the coves strips. I ended up just putting a piece of duct tape on each of those near the top portion that allowed it to be stuck to the wall until the liner was installed and I started to fill. The end result is a picture perfect cove that is durable. No way you could ever achieve this with sand. For those wondering, I ended up removing a full wheel barrow of sand from my pool ( 18' round replacement liner) that made up the old sand cove. I then spread some of the existing sand to the base of the foam cove to give a nice transition without any holes or gaps. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5: they need to make the tape stronger for a better bond.
