Worked well the first season. During the early second season we noticed little blue pieces of the plastic bubbles showing up in the skimmer basket. By the end of the season, the thermal cover was completely coming apart. Definitely not worth the money.

We bought the crank to wind it up too. This does a good job of keeping the heat in and the leaves out. When you crank it up, be prepared with your skimmer net to catch all the leaves that have collected on the top.

I have pictures of what I received and my old cover which was 12 mil and you can see the difference, you did not send 12 mil. What I received was NOT a 12 mil cover!!!

The cover lets me save electric and water at same time. I can heat the pool alot faster with cover on and heater running because the heat is not escaping therefore saving on water evaporation. the only problem is getting it on and off if you dont have a reel to wrap it on. I have done it alone on my 31 x 15 pool and i will say without the reel it is a little bit of a pain while trying to keep dirt off it. 2 people it is alot easier.

I live in Hawaii where it is sunny most days. I found I had to add quite a bit of water to my pool due to evaporation at least once a week, sometimes more in the summer. Since installation of the solar blanket, I haven't had to add water to the pool yet (it's been over a month) and had to lower the pool level when we had several days of heavy rain. It was super easy to install and easy to cut to shape (mine is a kidney shaped pool). If you have a rectangular shape pool, it'll be even easier! The blanket also stopped the dead leaves and debris from my trees from going into the pool.It does warm up the water (my pool is not heated), which is a bonus for me. So if you like your water cool, you will need to remove the cover a couple of days before using to cool it down. Overall, this product works great for reducing the amount of evaporation from the pool and helping to keep the pool cleaner. I highly recommend it.

This product disintegrated after 10 months in Southern California weather. It literally fell apart and I have blue plastic dots all over my backyard and in my pool.

This cover came apart in 1 year. We contacted the company but got no help to replace the cover. Said out of stock and we should purchase another cover.

people.. buy this if you are having issues with evaporation. seriously I had to add water to my pool at least once per week. once i bought this i haven't had to fill it. i mean unless the kids had a weekend in the pool had had water loss due to playing. the only thing i would say i dislike is you need 2 people to take it off and but it back on.. also, water gets super super warm. I live in CA who wants to swim in warm water when its 110 outside... if were gonna use the pool we take the cover off at night so the water will be cooler. great buy. I've had it less than a year and it still looks brand new.. will definitely purchase this brand again if need be.

We cut this to fit the pool and I wish I had bought this years ago. It's seriously keeps the pool warm. It also helps with evaporation and our chemicals are lasting longer. We were going to cut it into two pieces so it could be easier to get on and off, but it's really not that hard. It's so worth it. If anyone else has got it let me know if you feel the same way.

Easy to cut to size. Keeps pool so warmalmost too warm! Dramatically cut back on water evaporation. If I leave it off even a day water temp drops about 10 degrees. It literally feels like swimming in a bath.

Item works well as far as saving water. But it is work to put on and remove from your pool. Plus, have to remove it more often than planned. It increases the water temperature 5 to 7 degrees. Summers in Texas can be hot. Pool water temperature normally gets as high as 95 degrees. Well with the cover it was getting to102. It felt like swimming in a hot tub. Would not recommend if you use your pool often.

I was a little sceptical about this one. Felt thin and just a big piece of plastic, however it real works good. Keeps the pool clean and keeps water from evaporating, which is why we bought, also warmed up our pool pretty good.
