I have been using this pool cover for almost two years. This keep my pool so much warmer!!! It also does a great job preventing evaporation. I live in Southern California used to have to fill up my pool about twice a week (about 15 minutes each time) during the summer months. Now, I fill up my pool every other week for about 8 minutes. I'm amazed at how great this product is!!! I also don't really take good care of things and it has still held up well (as in, I'd leave it rolled up on the hot concrete while I was in the pool). While some of the bubbles have popped, my water is still just as warm and it still prevents the evaporation. When I have to replace mine, I will absolutely buy this same one again!

We live in South Florida. It didn't do much to increase the temp of our pool despite the amount of sunshine we got.

I have had this product for a little over a year. And it has started disintegrating even though I have kept it on a reel and covered when not in use.

The solar cover worked great! It extended our swimming season by about 5 weeks in the fall.The most beneficial time of the year is when the days are still warm enough to swim but the nights start to get cooler. I live in north Florida and in October our day time highs were still in the 80s but the nights were in the low to mid 60s. My sister lives nearby with no solar cover and while her pool was in the low to mid 70s and closed for the year, the cover protected my water temperature at night and kept us in the mid to upper 80s.

I'll keep it short and sweet, like the life of this cover. Bought April 2016 and after one summer in Southern California, it disintegrated by September. I had it on a roller and was very careful to care for it properly. I'm going to try a different brand and hopefully it will be the thickness advertised. As far as the heating element, it worked well but the durability prevents me from giving this a good rating.

I bought this solar cover for our above ground pool and it has held up very well so far. There were no issues with tearing or peeling apart of the layers as I have experienced with previous solar covers during the first year of use. The largest issue with this item is that due to the large size of our pool and therefor this cover the cover tends to be very heavy to pull on and off so you have to be careful how you are pulling to ensure you do not tear the cover.

Probably will hold heat in. I should have ordered a dark blue cover. Pool is in the sun much of the day. No temperature difference with this.

We're on our second year with this cover, and it's held up well. It keeps the pool much warmer than it would be after a cool night with no cover.

This is a solid piece of thick bubble wrap, this thing was 6 time the size I needed for my swim spa (6 x 18), but the smallest size I found to order.<br />I expect it to last 1 season in the Florida sun, so I have at lease 6 years of coverage. It does help keep the heat in and save energy on my swim spa heating bills.

Terrific product for the money. Usually get the blue coated ones, this is much better looking and for about 1/2 the price of the ones I had been purchasing (it's Florida, they have issues w/price gouging I think) It seems to be more pliable, was well packaged, came in a timely fashion. Would have liked a smidge extra length to be able to fold over for the strap placement, but that's a minor issue far outweighed by the apparent quality of the product. Came w/a lengthy guarantee, not expecting it to last that long, it's Florida and covers usually last maybe 2 years, reel straps maybe 1. If I get the 2 years I'll still be way ahead of the game as this cover was just about 1/2 the price of the traditional blue ones. Time will tell if it does indeed help w/heating and heat retention.

This clear pool cover not only keeps the heat in your swimming pool, but it allows solar radiation to penetrate and warm your pool water! Hence, I hardly ever see our pool heater run due to the efficient insulation of this pool cover plus the "greenhouse effect" this pool cover exhibits to further warm my pool water.<br /><br />It's pliable yet stiff consistency allows an easy roll up to uncover the pool, then makes for an easy unrolling to replace over the pool water!
