Works as advertised. Noticeably increases water temperature, even above outside air temp.

I believe the darker colors hold. The heat in better. But, no complaints.

This cover performed well for the entire season on my Intex above ground saltwater pool. It did not break down from chlorine or UV exposure and did a good job of keeping debris out of the pool. The "solar" aspect of it gets a little less stellar review. it works okay, but I wouldn't exactly call it a game changer in the temperature of the pool. I live in the Northern part of the continental US and on days when the cover was left on through the part of the day where the sun was the highest in the sky it maybe raised the water at the top level of the pool by a degree or two.

Works great! I get about 5 - 10 degrees warmer because of it, but I have to always keep it on when pool is not in use and it is a bit heavy.

Received order days before it was due in. (Thanks Prime!) Was a bit of a pain to roll out onto my pool, but it's doing an excellent job already. I did a lot of research before settling on a clear solar cover. I could feel the warm water swirling around when I peeled it off after letting it heat up for a few hours on a full sunny day. I did just get this cover in. I will update this review on it's quality after this season is over.
Also need to invest in a solar blanket reel. What a pain in the butt it is to pull this off to go swimming! That's no fault of this product though. It does what it's meant to do.

Heated the pool 10 degrees over 9 day period. I do live in Florida so the March/April sun is starting to get warmer. Perfect for the early season months to make the water a comfortable 80 degrees.
It is the thicker material and good size for peanut shaped pool.

I usually buy the blue, 12mm pool cover, but this Year thought I'd try the clear 16mm and see if there are any differences. There are. First of all, my pool guy put it on upside-down by mistake (and trimmed it). I thought, "what the heck. I'll leave it on for a few weeks to see if it works". I noticed the water wasn't warming up much (outside temp averaging at 80), so I flipped it. I had to cut out around the stairs, and so just used this piece to cover the hole left by the previous stair cut after it was flipped. Voila! The pool is now warming up much more quickly. The water went from the low 60's to the high 70's in a matter of two weeks. I should be able to swim comfortably (I like my water in the mid 90's) in a few more weeks if the outside temp continues to stay warm.
This cover is a bit stiffer and heavier than the 12mm, but also easier to re-cover. The 12mm was difficult to re-cover if you were alone, as it tended to glide about the pool stuck together in a clump, and took numerous attempts to get it in place. I had to re-cover the 16mm by myself and it just seemed to glide back into place (major plus!).
Last, the color. You know, I'm kinda on the fence about this one. Though the blue was kinda blah-looking after awhile, the clear is not see-through, and instead has more of a "white-ish" look. So, if you want that blue water look, maybe you should stick with the blue cover.
All in all, it seems to be doing its job (now that the boo-boos have been fixed) and also seems to be more efficient at heating than the 12mm.

It was effective in raising the water temperature of our pool by at least 6 degrees however only a year and a half after use it's disintegrating and we're throwing it out.

I bought this solar cover for our above ground pool and it has held up very well so far. There were no issues with tearing or peeling apart of the layers as I have experienced with previous solar covers during the first year of use. The largest issue with this item is that due to the large size of our pool and therefor this cover the cover tends to be very heavy to pull on and off so you have to be careful how you are pulling to ensure you do not tear the cover.

We're on our second year with this cover, and it's held up well. It keeps the pool much warmer than it would be after a cool night with no cover.

This is a solid piece of thick bubble wrap, this thing was 6 time the size I needed for my swim spa (6 x 18), but the smallest size I found to order.
I expect it to last 1 season in the Florida sun, so I have at lease 6 years of coverage. It does help keep the heat in and save energy on my swim spa heating bills.

These covers don't last long, but what you lose in longevity you save in heating and evaporation.

This cover brings our pool to 82*F consistently. It is much better than our previous blue cover when it comes to hearing the pool

Took about 5 days before seeing the temp rise. Hard for 1 person to put on alone. Might have to invest in a roller for next year

The pool cover works very good. Pool actually got too hot after a few days and I had to remove it. The material is very thick I am sure it will last for several seasons
