I bought this ball because I'm a tall women and was pregnant and trying to induce labor. I really didn't use it much while pregnant-I'd occasionally sit on it to relieve back pain, but it gets so much use with a newborn.If the baby is really fussy, bouncing with them on the yoga ball has helped put them to sleep many times. It also seems to help getting gas out. It does take up a lot of room but it's worth it to soothe an upset baby in my opinion.

Like everyone else says in the reviews, make sure to read the directions. This will not inflate fully the first time. I needed to add air for three days in a row to get it where I want it

Inflated with a 12 volt car tire pump. Took only a short time. Had to use a long level and tape measure to get the diameter correct. Mfg. shoulinclude a description of how to check size better. A circumference tape measure would have been perfect for this application.

I first saw a ball like this during physical therapy after having a total knee replacement. They used this type of ball for me to roll my foot and bend my knee back and forth. While this may not be medical grade, it does the exact same job without the expensive cost of something labeled as a medical tool. It feels very sturdy after pumping it up and holds the air very well if you seat the plug correctly. I have not tried to sit on it, but I feel it would be able to hold me. (195lbs) I am happy with this product and I have also bought a smaller version of this product. Maybe Yoga will come into play after my knee has recovered.

Used for stretching. I alternate this with my work chair for strengthing and balance in a regular basis and it has maintained its shape and inflated state. Great for higher weight capacity (over 300 lbs).
