Mission: Our mission is to improve animal welfare and effectively control hygiene and health problems caused by the overpopulation of stray dogs and cats, inspiring present and future generations to create owners and communities responsible for their animals and for the environment.
Results: Since the foundation, we have neutered approximately 16000 and more than 60000 animals have received treatment for ecto- and endoparasites in Cape Verde.
Target demographics: Stray and owned dogs and cats from Cape Verde.
Geographic areas served: Our veterinary practice is located in Achada Grande Trás, Praia, Santiago Island. But we give support in other location in Cape Verde.
Programs: Neutering campaigns, parasite treatment, basic health care, animal welfare, rehome/adoption, disease surveillance, public health and infectious disease research, awareness, education, community outreach.
