Causes: Boy Scouts of America, Children & Youth

Mission: To instill in young people lifetime values and develop in them leadership skills and ethical character as expressed in the scout oath and law.

Programs: In 2017 the council grew serving 22,659 youth members in 673 units with nearly 5,000 adult volunteers in 35 counties in northeast wisconsin and michigan's upper penninsula. Scouting's hallmark of service to others is delivered through "scouting for food" as well as other service projects that totaled 148,329 hours worth a staggering $3,580,066.As a result of hard work and determination, 270 scouts attained the rank of eagle scout. In addition, 3,063 rank advancements were earned as well as 7,746 merit badges. An ongoing focus on leader training and strong program has strengthened retention efforts. Continued development of our 5 camp properties served more than 5,000 members with a summer resident program experience.
