Mission: Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Gaston's mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. In 1984, the West Gastonia Boys & Girls Club was chartered. As the number of youth served increased and two other units were created, the name was officially changed to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Gaston (BGCGG) in 2002. The BGCGG serves over 1,600 youth annually at three separate sites through membership and outreach programs. The units consist of West Gastonia Club, Bessemer City Club, and Bradley Teen Club.

Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Gaston is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1987, and donations are tax-deductible.
