I love Breyer, and ordered a set to keep and a set to repaint. They need washed, a lot of the new small horses from China seem a little slimy but a little wash and they are good as new. Nice detail.

The horses are smaller scaled, but it was a present for a 5 year old. It did its job. It wouldn't be the worst thing if you ordered this, but you wouldn't be wasting time if you searched around.

Our daughter thought that the suppose foal was the best thing in the world. She opened her gift and then we used them to decorate her cake with. It worked perfectly!

Breyer's quality does not seem to have gone down at all over the years, this is still a well crafted toy.The set I received was not the one pictured, which was fine for me. Looking at the listing again, it does say random. I would have preferred to have seen a representative photo.
