I got this for my wife as a present. She collects these horses. After reviewing an actual picture of the horse it represents (Snowman), I am impressed at the detail and likeness to that horse. Breyers have kept a high level of quality in their figures throughout the years and this piece is no exception.

Love the Breyer horses ! This was bought for a gift for my horse crazy granddaughter. She will love this one for sure. This is a great way to teach children about the different breeds, and about the the things they do or how they are used.

Breyer horses are made of durable plastic. They are not completely unbreakable, but they can be played with or displayed. This horse is the famous show jumper Snowman. I read a book about Snowman a number of years ago and realized that I had actually seen Snowman when I was a child in the 1950's, so I wanted to get this particular model. The product is packaged well, and the attention to detail is outstanding. I have a number of these horses that are more than 60 years old and they are still in great shape.

Beautiful. Until I received the Breyer's “Snowman”, I was unaware that this particular horse has some dappling coloration, just as it might have if you were standing beside the horse. It's lovely.

This Breyer stands before a photo of the most beautiful soul of a woman I've ever know. My Childhood Sweet Heart who gave me the gift of horses.... I found the Snowman story along the way.... the true story of a plow horse who became the grand champion jumper in Madison Square Garden in 2 years from when he was rescued from a truck sending him to be slaughtered for dog meat or glue.

This snowman horse is really nice! I dont see the Bloody shoulder marking that some people mentioned, but whatever. Also snowman was a gelding, but the model is a stallion. His name is written in gold on his belly as well! Snowman was well worth the price!!
