Mission: The mission of Bright Light Volunteers is to make the world a brighter place by providing educational service opportunities that foster the development of global leaders and citizens. The vision of Bright Light Volunteers is to make the world a brighter place by creating a more peaceful, just, interconnected world where global challenges and opportunities are met by educated, compassionate, global citizens and leaders.

Results: 100% of participants graduate from high school and attend collegeWhen asked, in online, post-GSLC (Global Service Learning Course) surveys, to rate their knowledge of the historical, political, scientific, cultural, and socio-economic interconnections between the USA and other parts of the world, 98% agreed that participation in the program had deepened their understandingIncreased program participation by students attending federally designated Title 1 Schools by 233% since our organization's inception

Target demographics: provide struggling communities the funding and man power to increase access to education, improve community infrastructure, and work on environmental projects

Direct beneficiaries per year: thousands of community members, over 500 students, and 12 independent communities

Geographic areas served: the U. S. and communities around the world, promoting cross-cultural understanding, sustainability, and fostering global leadership.

Programs: school construction, well building, community improvements, teaching and education initiatives, house construction, and much, much more!
