I've used these 'dingo-ball-hones' in the past, and they work as well now as they ever did.This go-round was for a dirtbike cylinder, and the hone fit nicely, and cleaned up the bore to put a cross-hatch pattern into it. This ought to let the rings seat well when I finish the assembly.Watch some youtube videos if you need a tutorial, lots of them out there.

I got the 240 grit and honed the cylinders for about 45 seconds. They came out looking nice with a good crosshatch.

Used the 3' 240 grit. Did an amazing job on the steel sleeves in this machine for a set of SPI pistons. Compression and performance are still spot on after 800 miles of use. Definitely would recommend.

I was putting in new rings, but had a glaze on the cylinder bore. this quickly removed the glaze and will allow the new rings to seat properly.

My seat tube was 30.4mm and my new dropper post is 30.9mm.I got the size slightly larger and it worked great. I used WD40 and that made a mess and probably made things worse.I ended up using a sanding/sander eraser after some passes to clean the honing tool.It took a while, like a long time, but I test fit and test fit until it slipped in
