It's a dice tray. You roll dice in it. It works as advertised. Hard for it not to do so. :)

A little off colored and the inside looks like it wasn't professionally done. Dice rolls nice in it and it is fairly big so I have a lot of space to work with.

Gift to my sister as we often play farkle at her house and previously used placemats and the die were always bouncing off the table. I would say that we wish the sides were a little lower as it is hard to see the dice when other player rolls and the dice is against the side.

this was just what we needed. no more rogue dice knocking over miniatures during our gaming! quality is much better than I thought it was going to be. it can hold LOTS of dice.
