This is a great, easy game that my 2 year old loves to play. I enjoy the fact that I can adjust the length of the game by either playing with the full deck, or just part of the deck. The cards have nice artwork and it is a great way to review the alphabet with my child!

Bought these just to help my son learn to recognize letters. The lowercase "a" is not the shape he will have to learn to write, but all other letters are excellently formed. The word for c is cheese as opposed to something more representative of the hard c sound (as in "cat" or "cake"). But otherwise these are beautiful, quality cards. My son loves the vivid colors. We play the memory game with just 4 pairs right now, and I never let him play with them alone because gee would bend them (they are only as thick as a typical playing card).

These cards exceeded my expectations. The quality of the cards is just as good as normal face cards so shufflings is easy and the cards are durable. My daughter and I like to play Go Fish together and it has really helped her to learn to identify her letters.

Sturdy cards, cute illustrations, many games to play. Certainly a fun and helpful tool in teaching preschoolers letters and phonetics.

Small cons:
Letter C is for cheese. A traditional "C" would have been better than "CH".
Letters q, I, and a were not traditional preschool/kindergarten font. It was a little confusing for my preschoolers at first.

This game was perfect for working on letter recognition with my daughter. It's a lot of cards to match but it is doing the job I hoped it would: learning and fun

I got this game because my daughter is getting ready to go to preschool this fall and we needed s little help with letter recognition. This game is great. Each card has a picture of something beginning with the letter and then one matching card has the letter and the other has a word. My daughter caught on very quickly, we play with half the deck at a time, since 53 cards is a bit much for a 3 year old. Sometimes we even just play with 12 cards with the letters she has the most trouble with. Definitely suggest buying this for preschoolers.

I really like these cards. It is difficult to find games for young ones that have lower case letters. I taught preschool for many years, in addition to having six children of our own and I know that, if kids learn the lower case alphabet, they don't have problems picking up on the upper case. The reverse is not true. These cards make a wonderful choice for helping my grandchildren learn as we play.

My three year old and I play this often, and he really enjoys it. It's easy to understand for him and taught him not only his letters, but the concept of taking turns and being patient. :)

The cards are colorful and fun looking, but the word/letter association is ridiculous, cheese for the letter C, giraffe for G, owl or O, etc. These are supposed to be for ages 4+, but those sounds are confusing to my beginner readers who are learning their letter sounds which makes the game useless to us for now. You'd think they would have thought about this for the age group they're intended for, a little more thought would have made this a great game.
