I bought this for my Mom, whose macular degeneration has progressed to a point where she had to give up her card playing. After an adjustment period due to the different colors for the suits and the lack of pictures on the face cards, she has found these to be excellent.

This is a great deck of cards for anyone who is sight impaired. It allows them to play individual card games or be part of a group game where they would normally be left out. It's a ‘game changer'. :)

Our card playing group was very pleased at the bright colors. It made our card game Hollywood easier to play when making the runs

If you'll allow me to blatantly copy and paste from Wikipedia; “the curb-cut effect is the phenomenon of disability-friendly features being used and appreciated by a larger group than the people they were designed for.”My eyesight is terrible, I was born with a genetic condition called ocular albinism that makes fine detail extremely difficult to see. A friend of mine has taken it on himself to teach us the game of rummy, a large part of which is looking across the table to see what's been played. Reader, these cards are so legible I could play without my glasses! Moreover, everyone else agreed that it's a much easier game to play with these lo-vision cards, a benefit to everyone regardless of disability. Strongly recommended!

I bought these for my dad, who has sight issues. We had to go back to using regular cards because the rest of us couldn't handle the color system. You can hold the cards the opposite way to look the regular way, but that was awkward.I'm sure these would be good for someone with more severe sight issues, and they're good quality, just not for us.

Maybe it is just because I am so used to normal colors of black and red in playing cards, but the greens and blues just threw me off. I had to stop using them. The print was very large which is why I bought them, but the off colors were just too much for me.

I thought the picture was misleading. It looks like you get two packs, but it only comes with one.

Using these as spacers in T slot jig builds. The thickness of a playing card is just the right amount of wiggle room between a slide and the slot. I use these when building the jigs to square the slide against the slot walls.

my 92 year old mother has macular degeneration playing cards was getting hard for her because it was hard to see the numbers and suit. The print on these cards is large and easy to read. She isn't frustrated any longer trying to see the cards correctly.

These cards will make it possible for my visually impaired friend to continue playing cards. The only drawback is that the cards need to be held in a manner that is very spread out which is tricky for small or arthritic hands. Card holders resolve this problem.

Colors are confusing at first. You have to look at little icons to figure things out but they work for my mother's macular degeneration. And she is still beating me at cards.
