Very well written rules. Plenty of cash to bet. Nicely made and horses are cute. Dice and cards included. We would buy again or give as a gift. Very fun game!

It was a last minute thought and received it quickly. However, the horses are not set in the game very tightly (slide not peg system). You had to make sure they didn't slide forward or back if you happen to knock the board. And I had two 7 horses which was a little confusing. Just had to remember to move the correct 7 when playing.

This board is nicely done. Adequate spacing between tokens, they slide easily, and it is lightweight enough to be easily transported. The game kit is complete. Instructions for game are well written and easy to follow. They include alternatives which are also fun to play. The one improvement I would suggest is to use larger dice.

After reading other reviews, I decided to take a chance on this less expensive but fun looking version of the Horse Racing game. I am very satisfied with my purchase. The game is easy to learn, but no specific directions were included, and we watched an online video to learn. Haven't played it it with more than 2 people yet, but I think that would be much more fun. The money is very thin, and I think using your own coins would be better. I am satisfied with the look of the wooden board and horses-- the horses are permanently attached and arrived in the right order (as had been a problem in other reviews). Maybe someday we'll invest in a more expensive version, but this one satisfies our needs right now.

Liked the color, the angle and the sturdiness of the horses, but saw this blemish and am afraid of it splitting/peeling. I played this game with my friend who has a different product, thought this would be a little higher quality since it was more expensive, but it isn't unfortunately. Wish I could say I love it, but I can't.
