Fabulous mat. Purchased to counteract some hard floors while doing Beachbody workouts at home. Nice and cushiony but seems like it'll be durable.

This mat is amazing!! It feels like you are on a cloud. It takes the pain off your knees when doing planks or elbows too. The mat is really long too which is nice and it comes with a strap to hold it in its rolled up state. I bought it initially for my old dog who was having trouble getting off his dog bed and didn't want to spend the outrages amount for orthopedic dog beds and so I cut it to fit my need and then used the other half for my yoga stuff.

I bought this because I moved to a basement apartment with vinyl flooring. My standard yoga mat felt like I was still directly on concrete and it was hard on my joints. This mat works great, especially on floor moves where I go from my hands to elbows or knees.

I bought this to use for prenatal yoga for extra support for when I'm doing any poses on my side or knees which it works amazing for. However it's not good for standing poses. My feet really hurt after my yoga class because I couldn't get my feet grounded enough. I will probably go back to a regular mat and use this for other floor exercises. Overall I didn't notice a weird smell and it seems sturdy like it won't tear easily

Mat ripped. Dented in multiple spots. Mat very squishy and stretchy, found it hard to do even just downward dog bc you can feel your arms and legs sliding apart lol

It's good and maybe it's thicker than mats advertised as 1/2-inch, but 5/8-inch is exaggerating a little. I even tried to measure it across a land instead of a groove and it's still less than 5/834;. I got it for a bedroll. It's pretty soft but even with nothing on top of it, it does cushion your bones on a hard surface. It weighs less than a firmer mat would and that's not nothing.

I adore this mat. I use it for yoga and pilates. While others need two and three mats, just this one serves the purpose.
