Took this to Florida for vacation the year, best idea ever. It was windy and our umbrella was just about the only one that didn't fly away! And it take almost no time to set it up in the sand

I purchased this idem at full price after reading all of the reviews on how easy it is to use and how well it holds. When I received it, I looking at the quality of it and seen it also had a hole with a screw to hold the umbrella firmly. In the bottom of the pkg was the bolt like thing to hold it firmly. I realized that it was not supposed to be detached. It was the screw and the plastic part that is part of the holder together and could see where it had broken off. It's still usable and will keep it because I don't want to go through that process. (Again)

Well made beach umbrella anchor. This product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.<br />Pros:<br />- Well constructed of good, tough plastic.<br />- I had a cheaper brand which worked well but the plastic cracked when I over tightened the nut. This product is made of much tougher plastic.<br />- Easy to use and holds beach umbrella securely.<br />- Adapts to different thickness of the umbrella.

I needed this for grass not sand It does the job It is sturdy and tough but I wish it had a better grip for twisting into the ground than the hinged handle It got windy a few of times I used it and it has failed once although I saw other peoples umbrellas uproot too at that point so it was a strong gust

I got this to use at the beach for an umbrella, but now I am thinking of all the other ways I might use this. I like that it is plastic and won't rust. I like the colors because I have flair. I am thinking maybe anchors for a canopy or tent. This is very versatile. I do not go to the beach very often and had plans to lend it to friends who frequent the coast.<br />In exchange for my honest review I received a discount on this item.
