I ordered the Pre-K and Kindergarten Flash Cards prior to my son going to Kindergarten and they were right on target. He knew most of the sight words before his teacher introduced them to the class. Because of this, he is in the highest reading group for Kindergarteners. I'm plan on ordering the 1st grade Flash Cards and starting them this summer.

I am a Grandma who watches my almost 3 yr. old grandson. He wants to read so I bought this pack of sight words to help him. The cards are well made and so nice to use with him. We have started with the 2 letter words first. Ideas on how to use the cards and a couple of game suggestions are also included Would recommend this.

The kid writes me a page of these words each day before anything electronic can happen. This has helped his handwriting and his speed with which he can read. Also, homework can be substituted in and so doing homework is not that big a deal, because he already had stuff he had to do, before electronics. Some days I allow him to read all of them to me instead. So, he's actually jazzed about reading them. He has to go as fast as possible. It's a rule!

The cards are fine but the first set I received had duplicate cards so I only got half of the words. Be sure and check your deck when you get them.

Don't waste your money. The words are just words for younger grades and they add -ing, -ed, -s, -tion to the easy word.

I love this set of flash cards!! It's very useful for my kids! They definitely serve the purpose. Quality of the card stock is excellent. I would recommend them. The only thing is I wish these cards had a prepunched hole. But you can go to your local staples and get them done there.
