I spent a lot of time looking for a mat for sit ups stretching. It is soft comfortable exactly what I was looking for. I think it was worth the cost.

I use this mat for my lower back therapy sessions. The mat is the perfect thickness, width and length. I use it on hardwood floors and it's very comfortable .

saves my knees in yoga class for poses where knees are on the ground - too cushy for balance poses but that is fine to do off the mat. The mat makes my class so much more comfortable on my knees!

I purchased this for exercises because it is 1 inch thick. It provides ample comfort for leg lifts while on side. My hips are protected, and my back does not suffer as well. So glad I bought it.

As far as durability, so far so good. It has maintained its shape. Purchased for additional physical therapy table exercise support. The dimensions of the mat are perfect for my table, and good dense material for back and general body support.

This Matt is very comfortable and is actually one inch, but I would suggest not doing advanced yoga. Me and my roommate got one, she does advanced yoga moves, and her tore pretty quickly. I mainly stretched and it lasted much longer.

After deciding that a mat I bought for yoga (which I'm not currently doing) was too thin for my non-yoga floor exercises, I bought this one. I have no regrets. It is the softest mat I've ever used. It is true, as some reviewers have said, that the included carrying strap leaves marks on the mat, but that strikes me as a merely cosmetic issue. After using it 2x weekly for almost 3 months, I see no sign of wear or deterioration. My only gripe with it is the advertising. Maybe I'm just bad at yoga, but I can't imagine trying to do challenging yoga poses on a mat this thick. However, I find it perfect for core exercises, stretching, and the like.
