No gluten foods for me. Pacific makes their soups with cornstarch base. I can substitute in my recipes for my family with no problems.Genius I love your products.

I cannot have msg in my diet, but enjoy some recipes that call for a can of Cream of Chicken soup. This soup has so much depth of flavor, I don't think I'd ever go back to the more common brands in the grocery store. I buy it here because my local store is often out of stock, but not here!

I buy this in bulk online since only one store near me carries a gluten free cream of sauce and the ingredients are a bit suspicious. I made creamy shredded chicken tacos with this last night in the crockpot and it turned out wonderful! For fun here's the recipe:3 chicken breasts (or one costco package)1 can cream of chickenI can water or Broth2 Tbsp worchestershire sauceCracked pepperHeavy sprinkle of salt2Tbsp taco seasoning of choiceMix and set crockpot to 4 hrs on high or 5-6 hours on low. Shred chicken when done and let sit in the liquid to absorb another 10 minutes.I served with corn tortillas, sliced avocado, sour cream and a bit of chopped cilantro.Simple weeknight recipe

The ingredients are superior to a generic or Campbells alternative, flavor is very similar and it works the same in recipes. The only downside is the shelf life, I purchased the 12 pack and it expires in less than a year- would have liked product with a longer shelf life.

I am fond of PACIFIA products. A member of my household is allergic to MSG. It can be hidden in the ingredient list as many different things in the USA. I was having to make my own sauce to use as a basis in other dishes. Until I found this at the store. It does not have any MSG so I can safely use it in casseroles. (Note: watch out on other products which reads No MSG added, it will have MSG. It just means that the company packaging it did not add any MSG.)

I bought some of this soup when it was in the box, now it's in the can. I ordered some from Walmart thinking it was the same recipe. In the original recipe they used rice flour, but in the canned soup they use corn. And I'm highly allergic to corn. Why did they change the recipe? Was it cheaper to use corn than rice? So I gave away the soup and I'm just going to make my own soup at home. So disappointed

I have a sensitive system and the cream of chicken soup you buy at the grocery store makes me sick. I've been cooking with this soup for years and don't have problems. The color and taste are a little different but when using in a recipe it's fine.
