this is the more americanized version which includes lavender and i like that a lot, adds a background flavor and depth. a great value for the money.

The balance of herbs is very good and much easier then blending by hand. Great for that rural country taste on any kind of meat.

I've started to use some recipes calling for this seasoning. Though I had all the parts to make my own, this came so much better and easier. Just add a bit of salt, pepper, and maybe another spice and this is just perfect on so many meals.

HDP has been my go-to seasoning tool for a long time. I've been forced to use it sparingly because, in the supermarkets, it's $6 for half an ounce. This package of HDP is $12 for 6 ounces. 10 times as much for 2 times the price. $12 an oz OR $2 per oz. Your choice.Good quality, good variety of herb combinations too. Not all HDP will contain the same amount of different herbs. Very happy with this. Most certainly will buy again.Pictured: Roasted vegetables and grilled boneless chicken thigh, both dusted with McCormick Culinary Herbes De Provence. Mmmmm!
