This is a very delicious variety of beans to add to or supplement your meals. I only have had 3 or them and while I haven't had the black beans yet (which people commented where's the beans), the others I have had had plenty of beans--tasty and so convenient. As far as the sodium, that others have remarked about--of course packaged, shelf stable products are going to be higher in sodium than if you made them yourself from scratch but it's the price of convenience, I guess. I would never eat the entire package. My husband and I split a package as a side dish or included in burritos or rice.

I liked the taste. I like the convenience, that you can eat it, after microwaving for 1 minute.Trying to increase my protein and watch my calories, this fills the bill. I'm trying to find more ways to eat it other than with eggs.

A Dozen Cousins got the authentic seasoning of their refried black beans down just right. Great convenient packaging makes reaching for the taste of a simple but oh so good comfort food like my abuelita used to make accessible even if I don't have the time to cook from scratch. I love this product. I don't like curry so the chickpeas are not my favorite but the other beans are fantastic. This quick I don't have to cook anything just pop in the microwave for a quick lunch or snack. This is definitely helping me to stay on track of my new lifestyle.

I like these seasoned beans a lot. Cut a slit and microwave the bag for 45 seconds, and you have yourself a healthy, flavorful, piping hot side dish. Well worth the price!
