I have not used this as just sour cream at all. What I do is use this as flavor in my dishes instead such as beef tips etc. The flavor is good and mixes up easily.

I ran out of sour cream so I mixed up the Hoosier hill farms sour cream powder at a 1:1 ratio I was so horrible tasting and gritty. I will never buy this product again

I have used the SOUR CREAM it is good, but remember it is from powder. I was surprised at how thick it was but is a bit grainy. It is fine for what I bought it for, Other people in my house will not like it I am sure. For different things I will buy the real sour cream yes but this is real also. Their is things added to this.

I have many reasons I live this product. 1. Only use what I need and the rest doesn't go moldy in fridge.2. Add water to desired thickness and put on potatoes, many meals from Mexican to boxed hamburger helpers where they never give enough sour cream. I plan to buy many more to keep on hand. It is the best product ever. If they made a powdered butter that tastes like real butter I'd buy that too!!
