I bought this to recreate shopping mall pretzels I would always get as a kid, results were better than expected.

Maybe it will compliment a mixture or provide some flavorful enlightenment upon further experimentation...but by itself--on fries or anything else..no thank you....It tastes more like catsup than ketchup. If you know what I mean.

I was expecting to have the flavoring like a sour cream and onion potato chip, but it didnt. More like a burned onion. Ended up throwing out. Kept the Garlic Parm but even that wasnt great. Kernel Seasonings are way better (but much higher in sodium).

Love this sour cream powder. I use it to put in my coffee cake recipe that I make for the guests in our Airbnb. I mix 10 Tablespoons with one cup of water. Have never refrigerated it after reconstituting it, so, don't know how it works as a replacement for regular sour cream.

Does it taste exactly like sour cream? well maybe not, but to have a fresh sour cream substitute in your pantry, ready to add to your recipes is the reason to have it. I have used all their products and have never had an issue with any of them. Highly recommend it.

I marinated chicken thighs with this seasoning mixed with garlic Parm seasoning. It turned super delicious. Great for not only popcorn but marinate meat.
